But that was before we knew anything of the sinister storm brewing in front of our eyes.
And by the time we realized it, we were already trapped, with no way out of the frozen hell.
Riley Domina is a 22-year old university student hell bent on getting away from her rural home. Her only comfort in life is in her school of art, a hundred miles south of her countryside prison. Her parents are overbearing, and her younger brother is docile during the daytime, but a crazed party animal at night. The only person she can confide in is her childhood friend, Hadrian, who appears when she needs him most – or when she least expects it.
In an attempt to beat an unusual storm brewing on the horizon, she packs up and leaves in a hurry, but doesn’t get very far, realizing that she’s forgotten something invaluable. That’s when hell breaks loose, and the storm hits without warning - trapping Riley, her family, and her brother’s strange friends in a desolate winter wasteland - leaving them all fighting for survival and escape.
