U.X.O employs specially trained and equipped biomorphs called the Cessjumpers to go into the deep, labyrinthian underground of the city to seek out, engage and desintegrate any amassing Cescera and its mobilizing contaminary leaks before it gets a chance to consume the surface world, while their Chief Camarou struggles to keep her sanity dealing with the ever growing incompetance of the Department of Extrasanitation. As the chief herself puts it "It's the foulest job in the world... and it's always about to go critical."
