What's worse than having a midlife crisis? For Dr. Nicodemus MacCobb, it's when the 'Glory Days' that he's so nostalgic for were when he and his wife, Calliope, were world-conquering supervillains. Now, between his wife continuing her career and his litter of cloned children making parenting very interesting, as well as the fact that supervillainy is much different nowadays than it was in the 1970's, he wonders if life will ever be exciting again in a way he can handle, or will he continue to be a bored, unfulfilled house-husband of an obsolete supergenius for the rest of his life.
