"nemu" (pronounced "NEH-moo") is based on the Japanese word for "sleepy" ("nemui / 眠い").
nemu*nemu is a comic series by Audra Furuichi and Scott Yoshinaga featuring two magical stuffed toy pups named Nemu and Anpan. Along with their owners Kana and Anise, they go on hilarious adventures exploring what it's like to live in our world.
