Neglected Mario Characters was a series of different types of sprited webcomics (named "comix" in-universe) that constantly self-referenced and self-deprecated itself. It featured video game characters that don't get spotlight, hence gaming icon Mario was portrayed as the villain to Luigi being portrayed as the hero. There have currently been nine stories, most taking long hiatuses due to procrastination and change in staff. NC Shorts were typically short strips that were posted sporadically, while NC Deathmatches were a Celebrity Deathmatch-style battle between video game characters. The webcomic has been on an indefinite hiatus since 2011.
