Long ago, humans and insect demons battled in a war of freedom. The humans banished the insects into a deep chasm to be forgotten for all of eternity until a girl named Vail fell into the abyss. Now she must find her way out as she battles oppression in a bleak world of hatred, while trying to learn the secrets of a society once forgotten by the hands of time.
