Droid is an alien robot protector created thousands of years ago by a long lost race of higher beings. After a cybernetic virus that caused a war to break out, Droid absorbed the threat and shut his system down to contain it. A thousand years later he is awakened on a human drifter colony in deep space, which releases the virus and is used to create a new threat to the universe. After the virus was unleashed and used for crtical means, Droid teams up with the humans to provent another war before the virus reaches Earth.
