The story takes place in the fictional world of Scil one thousand years after dimensions merged,
flooding the world with countless monsters and unlocking unique magic. With time, many began
to abuse this magic, using it to enslave the weak, one man refused to bow, defeating the tyrants
and protecting the people.
After his death the people honoured him as a Champion and created a system to allow strong
magic users to follow in his footsteps and leave their marks upon the world, those who do, we call them Champions!
This story follows 15 year old Chris, a boy with a bone to pick with his oppressive mayor, armed with a dark book of skin and souls, he's on a journey to master magic and become a Champion!
