Between Red Lines is five artistic followers of Jesus Christ meeting weekly in Pasadena. Our goal is to finally listen to what God is calling us to do with our lives and talent.
Our evolving vision:
Our concern is to not “get in the way” of what God is doing. To follow the spirit instead of trying to lead it. As of now, we are trying to make one visual post every week. We don’t want money to influence any of it. (i.e. make this site pay our bills.) But we do have a vision of getting lots of artists involved. In the future we hope to have one of these come out each day that can be delivered by email. Like a daily email visual devotional.
We believe there is a real lack of personal Bible study going on in the church. Most Christians go to church, listen to a sermon and then spend the rest of the week focused on their pleasures. God is forgotten. We have become entrenched with rules and traditions that are not in the Bible and ignore what is actually in the Bible.
Jesus said, “Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?” Luke 6:46. In other words, we are trying to do what Jesus called us to do and inspire others to do so as well. We are trying to bring the Bible to life in a new way that will clearly show it’s power and importance. Thank you for visiting!
