WHEN THE CHICKENS REVOLT is a weekly webcomic (experiment) carried out by Sam Kieth (The MAXX, Sandman, My Inner Bimbo, Ojo, Hulk/Wolverine, Epicurus the Sage, etc) and Jonathan Wayshak (Toner, Analgesia, Town O’ Crazies, Ferryman).
Looking for an excuse to collaborate, one afternoon on a phone call, one or the other suggested an online comic. Spontanteous, without rhyme or reason, planning or premeditation. The idea was to see what one would draw a page on the fly, then passing it to the other to continuwwith the story without restriction. A “stream of consciousness” kind of thing. Two hours later, Sam drew the first page.
