As a final effort to save humanity, a group of survivors created a virtual reconstruction of our reality, projecting it on top of their dystopian present. Now, all life is digital, but society is still recovering from the remnants of the war. Synapse follows a group of hackers living in this broken, alternate reality. Their goal is to hack the timeline in an attempt to make their world a better place.
