Monsterhood™ is the story of Howard Busby, orphaned boy explorer who lives in a town full of clichéd, no, classic monsters, to live among them and study their ways.
The monsters live together peacefully thanks to the Monster’s Code – a law that prevents monsters harming other monsters. Unfortunately, humans are fair game, which is why Howie pretends he’s a werewolf.
Only a few of the friendlier creatures in the village know Howie’s secret, including Skunk-Ape, Howie’s monster mentor.
The city is hidden from the outside world by an energy bubble that encompasses the town, which makes people believe that nothing inside the dome is real.
That’s probably all you need to know to get started. Oh yeah, and Vampire’s a jerk.
